When is the company set up?

Please tell me the origin of the company name of COLOPL.

When incorporating "Colony Life" which we operated as a personal website in 2003, we chose COLOPL, the famous name of the "Colony Life☆PLUS" at the time of our establishment, to keep in mind our beginnings.

What is your main business?

(1) Entertainment Business and (2) Investment and Development Business.
(1) In the Entertainment Business, we are working on smartphone games, console games, XR/Metaverse, blockchain games, and other areas peripheral to game operations.(2) Investment and Development Business, we invest in a wide variety of companies, mainly entertainment and BtoC companies both in Japan and overseas during all stages of business, from founding to being near listing.Please refer to the "Business Description" on our website as well.

The Company listed on the Mothers section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on December 13, 2012.
On April 22, 2014, the market was changed to First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and is currently listed on Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange due to the Market Restructuring on April 4, 2022.

What is your corporate growth strategy?

Based on the basic policy of "Continue to create content that is unique to our group and deliver it to as many people as possible," we are striving to expand our business through appropriate resource allocation and diversified investment centered on the entertainment business and investment and development business.
In the Entertainment Business, we aim to grow on both axes.: horizontal growth of existing business, such as smartphone games and console games, and vertical stacking of new business in areas such as blockchain, AI, XR/metaverse, and other potential next innovations.
In the Investment and Development Business, we aim to minimize risk and maximize returns by combining multiple investment themes and timing based on our basic policy of investing broadly in a wide variety of companies, mainly entertainment and BtoC companies both in Japan and overseas during all stages of business, from founding to being near listing.

Is there a set period of time when you can't make an inquiry?

In order to prevent the leakage of financial information and ensure fairness, the period from about one to two weeks before the end of the quarterly financial closing date to the announcement date of each financial closing is a "silent period."
