Koichi Imai had his leg, the part he was injured in the accident in his 20's, amputated due to cancer.

However, he always thinks positively and change difficulties to driving force.
He believes that he is who he is because of heartbreaking experiences.

He would not have started canoe and have found his way of living if he had not had his leg amputated.
He joined COLOPL because he decided to live only in the way he wants and to devote his life in it.
