Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to COLOPL, Inc. (“we/us"), so we have established this Privacy Policy that covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store information about you.

1. Information We Collect and Means by which It Is Collected

1.1 Information We Collect from you Directly:

When you go through a registration flow for our services, you may be required to provide the following information: your age or birthday (for age screening and/or to better understand who our users are); your first and last names; your user name or nickname, your e-mail address; a password and other information that helps us confirm that it is you accessing your account.

We may offer you the option to complete a user profile that is visible to other users. Your user profile may include: a profile photo; one or more game username; your gender; biographic details that you provide; links to your profiles on various SNS; details about the games you play; and a user ID number that is created by us and used to identify your profile.

1.2 Information We Receive or Collect When You Access Our Games on a Mobile Device

If you play our games on your mobile device, we may collect mobile device identifiers, including a MAC Address, and IP Address. We may collect the name you have associated with your device, device type, telephone number, country, and any other information you choose to provide, such as user name, or e-mail address. We may also access your contacts to enable you to invite friends to join you in our service.

1.3 Location information

If you play our games on your mobile devices and then choose to use a location-enable service, we may collect and process information about your actual location, like GPS signals sent by a mobile device. We may also use various technologies to determine location, such as sensor data from your device that may, for example, provide information on nearby Wi-Fi access points and cell towers.

1.4 Payment Information

If you purchase our in-game virtual currency, or a license to use virtual items directly from us, we may collect the billing and financial information necessary to process your charges, which may include your postal and e-mail addresses. We may also receive the billing and payment information that you provide when your purchase is processed by third party settlement service providers (including but not limited to Amazon Services International, Inc., Apple Inc. or Google Inc.).

1.5 Customer Support Correspondence

When you ask for assistance from our customer support team, we may collect and store the contact information you provide (generally your name and e-mail address), information about your game play or activity on the Service, and your user ID number. We may store the correspondence and any information contained within.

1.6 Push Notification

With your consent, we may send push notifications to your mobile device to provide game updates and other relevant messages.

1.7 Information about Players and Play

When you play our games, we may collect and store certain information that you provide directly or through third party service provider that is offering our games. We may collect information about your play and interaction with other players and our games. The bulk of this information is collected and stored through the use of Log Files, which are files on our web servers that record actions taken on our games and websites.

1.8 Communications Features

When you take part in certain activities on our games or websites that give you the opportunity to communicate or share information (including text, user profiles, messages, photographs, graphics, audio, video, applications, and other information content) that you provide, with other users, we may record and store archives of the information of these communications.

1.9 Cookies and Automated Information Collection

When you access our games, websites or services, we collect certain technical information as follows. We and service providers acting on our behalf use Log Files and tracking technologies to collect and analyze certain types of technical information, including cookies, IP addresses, device type, device identifiers, browser types, browser language, referring and exit pages, and URLs, platform type, the number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, game state and the date and time of activity on our games or websites, and other similar information. In some cases, We may associate this information with your user ID number for our internal use.

We may also employ other technologies including (i) web beacons, which allow us to know if a certain page was visited or whether an e-mail was opened; (ii) tracking pixels, which allow us to advertise more efficiently by excluding our current users from certain promotional messages, identifying the source of a new installation or delivering ads to you on other websites; and (iii) local shared objects also known as flash cookies, which help us to prevent fraud, remember your in-game preferences and speed up load times.

You can set your web browser to warn you about attempts to place cookies on your computer or limit the type of cookies you allow. Flash cookies operate differently than browser cookies and cookie management tools available in a web browser may not remove flash cookies. If you disable cookies, you may lose some of the features and functionality of playing our games, as our cookies are necessary to track and enhance your game activities.

2. How we use your information we collect

We may use your information we collect for the following purposes;

• (a) to help us develop, deliver, maintain and improve our games, products, services, content, and advertising.

  We may share (i) certain technical information about your device (including IP addresses, MAC addresses for mobile devices and mobile device IDs), (ii) aggregated non-personally identifiable information, and (iii) anonymous information with third party advertisers. You agree that this information may be used by us or by the said third party advertisers to undertake user trend analyses, demographic profiling, and web analytics and to offer you behavioral targeted advertising.
• (d) For Legal Reasons
  It may be necessary by applicable law, regulation, legal process and/or requests from public and governmental authorities for us to disclose your personal information.
  We may also disclose information about you if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public interest, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.
  We may also disclose your information if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users.
• (e) Sale or Merger
  In the event of a reorganization, merger or sale, we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.
• (f) Outside U.S./Japan
  You understand and agree that your personal information may be sent to and stored or processed by us or by other third parties we engage outside the United States and/or Japan.
• (g) Opt-Out
  If you do not wish to receive from us email or postal mailings on future offers or information about new products, promotions, or services, you may be afforded the choice to opt-out at the time of providing your personal information. To make sure your personal information is secure, we communicate our privacy and security guidelines to our employees and strictly enforce privacy safeguards within the company.

5. Access to Personal Information

We use commercially reasonable efforts to provide you with access so you can request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if we are not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes.

If that information is wrong, we make good faith efforts to give you ways to update it quickly or to delete it, unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes.

We may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request.

We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by applicable law.

6. Children

Our games, websites and services are not intended for children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from such children. In the event that we learn that we have inadvertently gathered personal information from children under the age of 13, we will take reasonable measures to promptly erase such information from our records.
